Job description
The Application Architect is responsible for translating client business requirements into specific Application Development solutions. This includes working with client personnel and executives to identify functional requirements and subsequently working with and leading others in the identification, justification and design of the client's solution. Must be able to perform across all phases of the development life cycle.
Responsible for a wide range of design activities from requirements analysis through systems, application and/or process design specifications. At the senior level, the position requires significant knowledge across multiple platforms, processes or architectures, as well as broad knowledge of new technologies and will include directing the design efforts of less experienced architects.
Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 1 year experience in Design, development and delivery of application architecture solutions
- At least 1 year experience in External consulting to clients as an application architect.
- At least 1 year experience in An application architect role working on custom application development across all phases of the system life cycle.
- At least 1 year experience in Two or more of the following: Java, J2EE, SOA or Websphere
- At least 1 year experience in Ability to lead and influence others
- Readiness to travel Up to 1 day a week
- English: Intermediate
Preferred
- At least 3 years experience in Design, development and delivery of application architecture solutions
- At least 3 years experience in External consulting to clients as an application architect.
- At least 3 years experience in An application architect role working on custom application development across all phases of the system life cycle.
- At least 3 years experience in Two or more of the following: Java, J2EE, SOA or Websphere
