IBM Global Business Services is seeking an Oracle Retail Associate Partner with deep implementation and sales experience. The Associate Partner is responsible for business development and delivery oversight of complex global Oracle Retail implementations.
Responsibilities include:
Engagement Delivery
===================
- Meet annual managed revenue targets as established by practice leadership
- Developing and executing integrated project management plans, managing deadlines and dependencies across initiatives, and coordination of project team activities, specific to retail enterprise transformation initiatives, with a particular emphasis on merchandising and supply chain solutions.
- Program manage multiple point solutions including non-Oracle retail solutions as part of an overall engagement
- Integrating global delivery into project solutions
- Defining and agreeing on deliverables and milestones
- Setting and controlling scope
- Communicating status and vision to client management and stakeholders
- Estimating project skill requirements, and then working with resource deployment managers to identify appropriate resources and manage their integration into the team
- Overall team management of client, onshore and offshore staff
- Project financial management
- Risk management
- Ability to identify potential clients and define and propose solutions to clients.
Sales & Business Development

- Meet annual signings (sales) targets as established by practice leadership
- Develop solutions, as part of sales process, to meet prospective client needs
- Contribute to the development of business case analysis and benefit projections
- Collaborate with other sales professionals to generate and develop leads
- Lead pursuit teams from qualification through closure (including contract negotiation and execution)
People/Practice Management

- Serve as 1st Line Manager for a group of practitioners, including regular evaluations and staff development
- Assist in annual performance evaluation process and annual compensation process for direct reports
- Assist in the recruitment of staff
Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 5 years experience in Retek Project Management - large, global projects
- At least 5 years experience in Functional Experience with Retek
- At least 5 years experience in successful management of project financials
- At least 5 years experience in Retail industry
- At least 5 years experience in business development
- Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
- English: Basic knowledge
Preferred
- Master's Degree
- At least 10 years experience in Retek Project Management - large, global projects
- At least 10 years experience in Functional Experience with Retek
- At least 7 years experience in successful management of project financials
- At least 10 years experience in Retail industry
- At least 8 years experience in business development
- English : Intermediate
