Description

Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies is currently recruiting for a Manager Compensation located in New Brunswick, NJ.

Under very general supervision, the Compensation Manager will provide internal compensation consulting expertise to the J&J Global Supply Chain organization. The work associated with this role will include strategic consultation with senior level HR business partners and line managers, complex analyses, and regulatory compliance oversight on compensation matters. The Manager will develop and apply practices in support of J&J's compensation philosophy and policies to meet the needs of the business clients. Responsibilities will include planning, executing and managing a wide variety of compensation projects, as well as work related to the compensation aspects of reorganizations, mergers, acquisitions as well as broad-based annual and adhoc projects. This position will be based in New Brunswick, NJ.

Qualifications


A Bachelor's degree is required, with a minimum of 5 years experience in Compensation. A Masters degree is preferred, along with some exposure to benefits. Proven experience in determining appropriate salaries for new hires, intra-company transfers, promotions and/or internal equity situations is required. Working knowledge of local regulatory requirements and experience with union/wage based compensation is preferred. Incumbent should have demonstrated experience leading cross-functional, cross-business teams at the country/regional level. Excellent quantitative and project management skills are required. Must have strong influencing skills, high business acumen and strong presentation skills.. Must also have the ability to successfully manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Candidate must be culturally sensitive, drive for results, have strong written and oral communication skills and have a proven track record of leadership qualities. Experience working in and supporting a global organization is preferred. Experience using excel is preferred. Approximately 5-10% travel is required. This position is located in New Brunswick, NJ.
