DESCRIPTION:

As an Intern student working in the Supply Chain Planning Team, you will have the opportunity to work with various Supply Chain Planning functions to ensure product availability for our customers by means of lean process execution. You will have the chance to work with various cross functional business partners that will allow you to enhance your experience and expertise. You will also be given the opportunity to lead the effort on projects and process improvements that will contribute to the department's overall success.

We are seeking results and performance drive individuals that have demonstrated the ability to lead. The ideal candidate has high energy and passion, is adaptable, customer-focused and able to work independently. You should have superior interpersonal, negotiating, influencing skills, strong analytical, problem-solving and oral and written communication skills. You must have the ability to deal with multiple projects and priorities, in a dynamic and team orientated environment.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the Supply and Demand Planning teams with supplier performance measurement and reporting and forecast accuracy

Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that related systems are maintained and improved

Work with local and international stakeholders to report key performance metrics, with high degree of accuracy and reporting frequency

Participate in various projects such as supplier re-sites and graphics changes, new product launches, Change Management Projects and process improvement initiatives

Participate in various ad-hoc projects both within Supply Chain and cross-functionally

Qualifications


In final two years of a Bachelor of Business Administration degree program OR currently enrolled in an MBA program

Proficiency in MS Office software, especially Excel

SAP/APO knowledge an asset

Cognos/BIW knowledge an asset

Supply Chain experience an asset
