Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
- MS degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to contribute both as a team leader and an individual contributor
- Excellent analytical awareness and problem solving
- General engineering knowledge and expertise beyond microfluidics is highly desirable
- Demonstrated project management experience desirable, preferably involving cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- System integration engineering experience
- Innovative and analytical problem solving skills
- Excellent technical skills with the ability to take big ideas and make them happen
Desired Skills/Experience:
- PHD degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or related field
- Experience with advanced engineering concepts and modeling tools
- Experience with engineering software tools
- Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, and have a strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
- Experience in the development of microfluidics based systems is strongly preferred
