Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
  • MS degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to contribute both as a team leader and an individual contributor
  • Excellent analytical awareness and problem solving
  • General engineering knowledge and expertise beyond microfluidics is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated project management experience desirable, preferably involving cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • System integration engineering experience  
  • Innovative and analytical problem solving skills
  • Excellent technical skills with the ability to take big ideas and make them happen
Desired Skills/Experience:
  • PHD degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or related field
  • Experience with advanced engineering concepts and modeling tools
  • Experience with engineering software tools
  • Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, and have a strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
  • Experience in the development of microfluidics based systems is strongly preferred
 Other Information:  up to 10% travel
