Qualifications
- PhD degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biology, or a related field with 3 years of industry or 5 years of post Ph.D. professional analytical experience, OR, an MS degree in Analytical Chemistry or closely related field with at least 10 of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated people leadership skills.
- Experience in managing multiple projects with shifting priorities
- Extensive knowledge of state of the art analytical techniques will be required for the development and execution of analytical strategies for diverse biological questions.
- Demonstrated track record of solving challenging and complex analytical problems.
- Experience in method development and the ability to define and implement desired technical strategies.
- Exceptional leadership, verbal and written communication, and problem solving skills will be required to negotiate scope/resources, manage, and project status, and synchronize activities with team members, stakeholders, and management.
- Strong customer focus and results orientation are a must.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the areas of analyzing plant metabolites, proteins, and nucleic acid.
- Broad range of experience in phenotype analytical techniques of plants.
- Demonstrated track record of working in a multi-disciplinary team.
