Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
- PhD in plant biology, molecular biology, physiology, or related discipline
- 2+ years of post-doctoral experience in plant biology, molecular biology, or physiology with broad experience working with nucleic acids and proteins
- Working familiarity with standard bioinformatics tools
- Must exhibit high motivation and results orientation
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
- Work effectively in a team-based environment
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Expertise in uptake and transport of “small” molecular weight compounds within the plant for the purpose of elucidating the mechanisms of action and optimize weed control efficacy
- Expertise in various visualization techniques and molecular quantization methods
