The Project Manager II is responsible for supporting the marketing efforts for ongoing National and CA health plan workforce health and total health initiatives. The Project Manager II serves as a strategic marketing partner for the HealthWorks and Product Innovation team and Sales and Account Management and ensures that health plan marketing projects meet objectives and are managed in a timely and efficient manner. The Project Manager II will provides strategic marketing communications direction and implementation support for complex marketing communications and will be responsible for determining the appropriate marketing strategy for these initiatives, including communicating the approach via written plan, identifying required marketing resources and ensuring the seamless integration and execution of marketing deliverables across all marketing channels.

Essential Functions:
- Work with business partners to evaluate and define workforce health marketing opportunities.
- Manage projects: develop and maintain project work plans, schedule and manage meetings, determine and review project components to ensure criteria are met, route work for approvals, and assist with knowledge sharing.
- Write marketing plans, project briefs, develop presentations, write meeting agendas and notes.
- Be able to define the product and program positioning, the target markets, our value proposition and key messages for our customers (employers and brokers) as well as evaluate available data and information for marketing plan development.
- Create and maintain marketing dashboard and drive analysis of metrics for tactical plan elements.
- Drive multi-disciplinary workforce health work groups in marcom projects from initiation to completion.
- Ensure consistent positioning and timely delivery of required communications across channels, including sales collateral, pre- and post-enrollment collateral, web content, proposal content, and media materials.
- Keep abreast of brand standards, regulatory and legal guidelines, organizational goals, and other relevant best practices in order to better support projects.
- Collaborate with various subject matter experts and stakeholders in a variety of disciplines and levels, to gather input, deliver information, and drive projects forward.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) marketing project management or similar/related function.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, advertising or design required or other related field.
- Communications project management experience in health care preferred.
- Master's degree in above subjects is preferred.
- Familiarity with a variety of marketing communications channels, such as print, email, web.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate business information clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences.
- Must be able to manage and facilitate large, diverse groups of people to arrive at consistent and integrated strategies and deliverables.
- Experience managing and facilitating complex communications projects for a range of marketing segments or industries.
- Creative problem-solving skills. Must be able to positively interact and navigate a variety of departments and individuals across the organization to mutual success, despite competing priorities.
- Health care industry experience preferred.
