Position Description: The Facilities Maintenance Person will be the first line of defense for repairs of a commercial office facility. Mitigate major repairs and reduce cost. To ensure proper compliance with all State, County and all municipal life safety rules and regulations.
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
Lift and carry (up to 45 lbs) and/or awkward items.
Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
Experience in Commercial Facilities. Additional Requirements: This position is responsible to perform and/or coordinate outsourcing of repairs and maintenance to all property, buildings and material handling equipment, including conveyor, lift trucks, fire protection system and security system. Troubleshoot and repair Sorter/Conveyor System and packaging equipment.
•Electrical and Maintenance Experience Required.
Responsibilities:
Experience in Commercial office facility engineering. Must be able to work unsupervised safely and effectively and be able to follow instructions.
Maintenance, troubleshooting and minor repairs of heating, ventilation air conditioning system and work with subcontractor on larger repairs.
Maintenance, troubleshooting and minor repairs of plumbing and electrical to include 277 volt ballast replacement
Furniture/Cubicle installation, maintenance and moves/changes and additions.
Work with various subcontractors for all construction disciplines including landscaping, plumbing and electrical.
Painting and minor construction in facility as needed.
Regularly and reliably work the scheduled hours. Ability to be on call and work overtime as needed.
All Facilities maintenance duties included in commercial office facility which may include light grounds maintenance.
