The Sales function within the Johnson & Johnson Group of Consumer Companies is a dynamic, fast-paced team that partners with key Food, Drug, Mass Merchandiser and Specialty Retailers across the country. The Sales team is responsible for delivering the company forecast, executing strategic business plans, and launching new and innovative products to the trade. There are four core global business units that the team supports, specifically- Beauty Care, Consumer Health Care (CHC), Over the Counter (OTC), and Baby. The primary franchises within the Global business units are baby products, wound care, skin care, sun care, oral health, women's health, pain, gastrointestinal, analgesics and feminine hygiene. Some of most our familiar brands are Johnson's® baby products, Clean & Clear®, Neutrogena®, Listerine®, Reach® oral care, Rembrandt®, Band-Aid
  • Adhesive Bandages, Neosporin®, Tylenol®, Sudafed®, Splenda®, and Stayfree®.

    A Consumer Sales Customer Development Co-op position at the Consumer Companies of Johnson & Johnson, offers high-caliber students the opportunity to apply their knowledge in practical business settings during a six-month full time assignment from January through June or July through December. The Consumer Sales Customer Development Co-Op will be responsible for analyzing data to understand business drivers and trends, assisting with the management of promotional display programs, reporting and evaluating monthly sales versus forecast activity, assisting with new item launches, executing retail & customer initiatives and special projects as assigned. In addition, students will be provided with an introduction to Sales by gaining an overall knowledge of the Consumer Packages Goods industry, while teaming with internal partners such as Marketing, Finance and Operations.

    A successful candidate will have the Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple activities concurrently; Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally; Ability to create strong, collaborative working relationships and encourage creative solutions to accomplish team goals.

    Qualifications


    Must be a current undergraduate student in pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college

    Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

    Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1-B status) now or in the future.

    Proficient in Windows software applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

    Must be able to work full time (6 months) during the duration of the Co-op Program (currently recruiting for July - December, 2013 Co-op rotation)

    Must be able to provide own transportation between home and work office location
