The position will provide detailed technical analysis for multiple Revenue Cycle projects that deliver IT solutions to our business partners.
Customer facing position which documents functional requirements, analyzes business processes, and develops business cases to support IT solutions. The position provides client support during system development and implementation, development and maintenance of service level agreements.
Essential Functions:
- With IT Partners, investigates, documents, and analyzes clients' IT requirements in project areas such as Billing, Claims Optimization, Patient Financial Services, Financial Assistance applications, and other Revenue Cycle processes. The position also provides market research of emerging or available product functionality, including vendor products, and operational readiness assessments.
- Assesses scope and impact of client business needs to define a project. Works with partnering IT services to accomplish clients business needs.
- Identifies and documents cross-functional and/or cross-divisional requirements, IT functional requirements, workflow, information sources and distribution paths, and system specifications.
- Develops simple business cases with cost & service dimensions of proposed IT projects that are used at management and executive levels for funding and scope decisions.
- Analyzes and defines efficient, cost effective IT solutions that support client business processes and functional requirements for simple IT projects.
- Evaluates existing application products that could address client requirements and develops recommendations where appropriate.
- Provides guidance and coordination to clients in the planning, training and operating of automated systems.
- Designs and implements training programs for train-the-trainers for clients of new and enhanced applications.
- Applies methodologies/standards to requirements analysis.
- Follows Service Level Agreements.
- Performs risk analysis.
- Develops and implements communication and escalation plans.
- Supports the development of project plans for specific client's IT projects or project sub-tasks
- Is mentored by higher level Business Consultants, Solutions Consultants and Project Managers.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or 4 years of equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an analyst in IT
- Experience with Visio and MS Office/Project
- Ability to understand business process flows and technical documents
- General application of concepts and principles.
Preferred Qualification
- Experience with Sharepoint
