Responsible for Web development support and ensuring that all Internet projects developed adhere to Web code standards, site architecture, and functional requirements in a form that supports both national and regional goals. This position performs Web page development and manages Web site structure and deployment. This position interfaces with national and regional clients regarding Web page structure and production approaches for client projects. Web Interface Development manages and leads the team of Web Interface Developers, interfaces with national and regional clients regarding Web page structure, and leads development, deployment, and production strategies for client projects.
Essential Functions:
- Can independently perform software coding, testing, and debugging for web presentation layer using HTML and CSS according to internal standards and guidelines and, otherwise, in accordance with industry best practices; may also modify team site content data: 35%
- Documents project and development work: 15%
- Troubleshoots issues and executes according to various policies, methodologies, and standards as appropriate: 25%
- Participates with editors, designers, application developers, and project managers in cross functional teams to evaluate, scope, and size new projects: 15%
- Researches, learns, and applies new web development technologies as needed: 10%
- Responsibilities impact the achievement of department objectives.
- Results usually contribute to the completion of projects and department objectives.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum two (2) years of experience.
- Experience with software coding, testing, and debugging for web presentation layer using HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML
- Two (2) to five (5) years of previous work experience preferred.
- Four (4) year degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of policies, practices and systems.
- 2-3 of Teamsite experience
- Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.
- General application of concepts and principles.
- Full use and application of standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.
- Some healthcare or similar system with high security requirements preferred.
- Prefer experience working on KP Clinical Website
- Prefer experience with medical terminology
