GENERAL SUMMARY
Responsible for the daily activities pertaining to the issuance of group documents including, but not limited to, Group Contracts, Administrative Service Agreements (ASAs) SBCs and other plan documents. Completes ongoing operational tasks to support a multi-function department. Creates and maintains databases and management reports related to group documents and contract issuance. Develops and maintains documentation of processes and procedures. Subject matter expert for special projects.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and maintains group contracts, Administrative Service Agreements (ASAs), and other plan documents by consulting and coordinating with the Regulatory Compliance, Marketing, Underwriting, ASO, Health Care Reform team and Materials Management Departments. Ensures the timely, accurate completion and issuance of these documents.
- Strategic Account Meetings to complete/maintain all agreements and documents.
- Analyzes changing business requirements to develop and enhance databases and spreadsheets to support contract issuance and plan document processes.
- Investigates, analyzes and resolves inquiries and complaints, from client departments and other managers regarding group documents and issuance.
- Researches, compiles and creates reports from databases and spreadsheets. Develops and maintains implementation/project plans, timelines and resource lists.
- Develops and maintains operational procedures and reports.
- Represents the department on project teams and by attending meetings that involve an interdepartmental approach.
- Ensures compliance with department/organization policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications:
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Advanced writing, reading, math and analytical skills.
- Ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects, use time management skills and independent judgment.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required to effectively communicate with all levels of management (internal and external).
- Proficient with word processing, database and spreadsheet applications used by department.
- Knowledge of IDX application and Coventry Data Warehouse (CDW).
