GENERAL SUMMARY
Organizes and delivers training programs for internal software business applications and/or organizational processes/policies training programs in support of the organization’s goals and strategies.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organizes and delivers training programs for internal software business applications and/or organizational processes/policies in instructor-led and/or web-based formats to support ongoing improvement of staff and/or shifting business needs.
- Administers training assessments, competency testing, and follow-up testing to determine effectiveness of training programs. Assesses and summarizes course evaluations.
- Maintains a database of all training activities and employee progress to monitor effectiveness of programs.
- Assists senior level staff with editing training documentation to support policies, procedures, system enhancements, and/or internal software business applications.
- Identifies appropriate training media and methodologies based on the nature of training being delivered, audience location, audience learning styles, and/or point within the learning process.
- Creates and maintains partnerships with other departments. Advises employees and management on appropriate training courses.
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications:
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- High school degree or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous (1-3 years) experience using internal software business applications required.
- Previous teaching and/or training experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to clearly and effectively communicate both verbally and in written format.
- Ability to use standard corporate software packages and corporate applications.
