Johnson & Johnson Services Inc., a member of the Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Recruitment Manager (Sourcing) located in CA.

Global Recruiting (GR) is a talent acquisition organization which provides recruiting services to many of the Johnson & Johnson Operating Companies. Our structure features a recruiting component which concentrates primarily on candidate selection and customer management. Our department also has a sourcing component which is charged with proactively identifying and attracting key talent for our open & pipeline positions. The Recruitment Manager (Sourcing) plays a critical role in creating a competitive advantage for the Johnson & Johnson family of companies.

The Recruitment Manager (Sourcing) will be responsible for the design, delivery, execution and assessment of talent acquisition initiatives that enable our operating companies continued success in acquiring the top talent required to meet business objectives. He/she will manage all phases of the external talent identification process for the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device & Diagnostic, and Consumer sectors. The desired individual will be responsible for creating and executing external sourcing strategies, diversity plans as well as social media initiatives based on current and future business needs. He/she will collaborate with the entire Sourcing Management team to develop/deploy strategies and drive efficiencies throughout the department. They will work closely with the Recruiting Management team and line managers to ensure that talent strategies and programs meet customer needs. Additionally, he/she will partner on the strategy development for direct networking, vendor relationships, career fairs participation, recruitment advertising, and internet recruitment. This role will be responsible for providing management and guidance to a team of Sourcing Specialists. This will include coaching and counseling team member to help meet business and personal development goals; as well as partnering with operating company HR and line leaders to ensure alignment between their business objectives and your talent acquisition strategies.

Qualifications


Bachelor's degree required; Master's or comparable advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 7 years experience in recruiting and/or Human Resource related field is required. Prior management and proven leadership within a recruiting or other HR function are required. A minimum of 3 years experience in managing employees and leading a geographically dispersed team of experienced professionals is strongly preferred. Consideration will be given to candidates whose people management experiences have been gained indirectly through multiple and significant complex project leadership roles. Agency/Executive Search background preferred. Extensive experience, preferably 5+ years, in applying talent acquisition principles, theories and concepts is preferred. Prior experience in the management of a recruiting function or experience with recruiting leadership as a major responsibility preferred. Demonstrated understanding of staffing standard operating procedures, guidelines and legal requirements as they apply to compliance in employment practices and applicant tracking is required. "Full life cycle" recruiting experience is preferred. This role will require approximately 25-30% travel. This position is located in CA.
