Position Overview

Responsible for managing the relationships and communication with Janssen's Trade customers (wholesalers, pharmacies, travel clinics) including listing new products, product availability, changes to product specifications and pricing, order fulfillment, compliance requirements, etc. Partnering with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve / negotiate issues, identify opportunities, and implement changes.

Key responsibilities:

Manage and build trade partner relationships to enable collaboration, compliance, and continuous improvement:

Conduct/lead semi-annual business reviews with key partners including conferences (ex. CAPDM).

Day to day communication of relevant information and issue resolution with customers.

Ensure compliance to product requirements and policies (Janssen & Government).

Verify new account/location requests as per process requirements.

Ensure compliance to the Janssen Inc. Terms of Sale and Returns Policy.

Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Identify, develops and directs implementation of programs for Quebec trade customers, and other customers where appropriate / aligned to marketing strategy.

Communication of relevant information to customers to ensure Janssen products are able to move through the supply chain in an effective and efficient manner:

Send new product listing information to all wholesale customers including product specifications, pricing and recommended initial order quantities.

Update customers with appropriate forecast information and order recommendations.

Validate pricing changes, assess impact to customers and internal processes, provide recommendations on changes and communicate final pricing to customers.

Review changes to products including specifications/ formats / packaging /discontinuation /etc. and update customers if appropriate.

Update the PPS (pharmacy) product listing bi-annually.

Forecasting and Trade Partner inventory management:

Negotiate and obtain inventory and sales data from our direct customers.

Manage customer orders to ensure appropriate distribution of products including situations of limited supply and to meet quarter/year-end requirements.

Lead resolution to ad hoc issues (ex. product availability, overstock, customer transitions, recalls, packaging, credit limit, payments, quality deviations, contracts/agreements, etc.).

Gather relevant market information impacting product forecasts and communicate internally.

Qualifications


5+ years progressive supply chain experience in related business process areas (Customer Relationship Management, Supply Planning, Distribution, Supplier Management, and Project Management)

Bilingual in French and English is a must (verbal and written)

Strong financial and analytical skills coupled with business acumen

Strong attention to detail, accuracy & process adherence as well as strong priority management skills

Strong systems background, experience using SAP and Data Warehouse

Knowledge and familiarity with external key customers involved in the supply chain (wholesaler and pharmacy chains)

Possesses strong collaboration and negotiation skills, ability to build strong interdependent relationships, ability to represent Janssen within external business partners

Strong interpersonal, presentation & communication skills

Proven ability to lead and work collaboratively in both a cross-functional and cross-company team environment

Undergraduate degree required; MBA asset

Supply Chain certification (ex. APICS/CSCP) is an asset

Use of Process Excellence methodology and tools to drive process efficiency

Project Management methodology and tools - MS Project, MS Office, SharePoint

Travel approximately 15%-20% of time
