Description

- Provides leadership and direction for the effective deployment of the Global Training Center of Excellence programs and systems for the assigned Region.
- Coaches and assists local and regional training professionals to ensure effective execution of Training and Education standards and processes, including establishing and fostering a global community of practice, and management reporting.
- Participates in the development and deployment of Global Training & Education Management quality standards, WWSPs, QSPs and harmonized Training Management processes and training curricula.
- All Learning Management System (LMS)- ComplianceWire Administrators in the region of responsibility, report as a dotted line to this role to ensure integrity of data and consistent use of the LMS for each employee in the GxP environment.
- Liaise, guide and work with regional training site leads to identify areas for improvement in training and eLearning programs ensure harmonization of practices across sites. Understand and incorporate local and regional needs and requirements without compensating Global standards.
- Regional Training Process Owner who provides regional audit/Inspection support with regional training management questions and training records
- Collaborate with local SMEs in the creation of harmonized training courses
- Reviewing and approving eLearning modules for WWSPs, QSPs and global SOPs and facilitate the creation training assessments.
- Organize and manage the creation and delivery of regional GxP concept training
- Maintain J&J Training Server for regional training materials, including GxP training programs
- Identify training gaps, resolve problems and drive process improvements with local training leads and local management
- Act as the author for regional training/e-system administration procedures.
- Manages the development and deployment of all regional and work with other regional leads in the development and deployment of global training initiatives
- Deploys the standards of evaluations to local sites
- Performs and manages the deployment and documentation of on-going training gap assessments for the region of responsibilit

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- 30% of time - Create and manage regional and global LMS User Groups and curricula. Coordinate with Local Training Leads the addition of the specific users into these groups and assignments for the global / regional curricula.
- 30% of time - Create and manage the global training curricula and assignments ensuring that they are current, accurate and deployed in alignment with current training processes. This may include, but is not limited to, consulting on and/or defining the eLearning strategy and creating/reviewing training materials for global quality applications.
- 30% of time - Coach and train local training personnel to develop, manage and sustain robust training programs that meet global and Enterprise requirements. Collaborate and resolve issues and challenges that may cause roadblocks to progress. Is the Training Process expert and as such assists with deploying processes at local sites. Deploy a standardized program for Train-the-Trainer in his/her region. Deploy and administer the TTT program for their region.
- 10% of time - System owner for the region to ensure full effect use of the LMS is in place.

Qualifications


REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

- BA/BS degree required, MA/MS/MBA degree desired
- 9-12 years experience in Quality Training
- 10 years experience in a regulated industry
- Knowledge of global training regulations in Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Cosmetic product classifications
- Understands and has experience of Learning management Systems, Computer based training and eLearning development
- Experience and knowledge of process excellence tools

EXTERNAL AND INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

- Internal: Will interact at all levels from VP to wage employees
- External: SME for Learning Management Systems and Adult learning. May interaction with Health Authorities during inspections. Application vendors, consultants, assessors.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS

- Office environment, may require some travel (less than ~20%).
- Hours of work will need to adjust to assigned regions time zone if not located at the region.

LOCATION

This position may be based in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, or China. The role holder will be expected to be based in their current country of residence (within Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, or China)

No relocation support will be provided.
