The Director, Training & Readiness reports to the KFC-US Chief People Officer. This position owns training and development design and strategy, along with the readiness of HR initiatives/projects for the KFC-US system. A successful candidate will have the ability to drive a focus on people capability and gaining alignment with Restaurant Excellence, System Operations, Field HR and Cross-Functional teams is critical.
Position Functions:
?Lead Training Design and Execution Strategy for 4600+ Stores. This includes training for large, new product roll-outs and significant training initiatives such as new hire training or Chicken Mastery.
?Accountable for continuing to develop three year roadmap for training and development in the restaurants
?Develop and execute new Centralized University at Corporate headquarters (RSSC); this includes building and managing a KFC prototype restaurant in the RSC which will support a broad learning environment for those attending the University classes and RSC employees.
?Lead, manage, and develop a team of 13 employees in various capacities on the Training Design and Training Execution teams
?Partner with Chief People Officer in developing field HR strategy for driving the people vision in all KFC Restaurants
?Function as the key HR liaison with Franchise Operations Excellence Committee which includes influencing, informing, educating, and collecting feedback on all HR initiatives touching the restaurants
?Manage all learning technology including system upgrades, new technology, and strategy around best solutions for optimal learning
?Partner closely with Restaurant Excellence and Field Operations teams to ensure alignment on priorities and to collect feedback in creating the best possible training for the field

Education:
