Job description
Delivery Project Manager, IBM Corporation, Somers, NY and at various client sites throughout the U.S.: Manage the delivery of IT services to the client within the construct of service level agreements. Provide technical leadership in architecting system solution projects for client engagements. Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered within quality expectations. Drive the cross-functional identification, evaluation and development of systems and procedures. Provide technical management capability in business process automation and support financial and distribution systems. Identify reusable code to ensure the high quality creation of the code by employing different database design techniques. Responsible for delivery across multiple technology teams for projects leveraging expertise in financial month close operations and financial statement generations. Utilize Oracle ERP Applications, Oracle Integration technologies and Development Toolkit, Hyperion systems and Vertex tax applications. Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Senior IT Specialist, Programmer Analyst, Senior Systems Executive, Applications Consultant or related. 40 hours per week, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
