Job description
Mission Critical client facing environment requires candidate with strong UNIX Architectural skills all versions of Sun Solaris, AIX and HPUX . The Custom Migration Unix Architect is required conduct interviews, collect systems and application data and meticulously document data collected. Candidates will also provide the following: Engineering support and technical expertise regarding enterprise IT systems design, architecture and new technology integration. Provide administration support for Sun Solaris, AIX and HPUX servers and SAN infrastructure. Solaris, AIX and HPUX Systems Administration experience SUN Virtualization experience (Zones, Containers, LDOMs), AIX ( LPARS) and HPUX (VPARS). Must have experience with Veritas Cluster Configuration/Volume Manager. Conversant with SAN technologies. Experience with protocol diagnostics, Solaris DTrace, troubleshoot performance issues etc. Knowledge of/experience with formal delivery methodologies developing solutions, architecture. Experience with large-scale enterprise projects. Strong communication and documentation skills.
Readiness to travel up to 75%; typically travelling 5 days a week, home on weekends
Required
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 2 years experience in Virtualization technologies.SUN (Zones, Containers, LDOMs) or AIX ( LPARS) or HPUX (VPARS)
- At least 3 years experience in Experience in Veritas Cluster Configuration/Volume Manager
- At least 1 year experience in Experience in Solaris or AIX or HPUX Systems Administration
- At least 1 year experience in Experience in Enterprise IT systems design, architecture and new technology integration
- At least 1 year experience in Conversant with SAN technologies.
- At least 2 years experience in Knowledge of/experience with formal delivery methodology's developing solutions, architecture
- At least 2 years experience in Experience with large-scale enterprise projects. Strong communication and documentation skills.
- At least 2 years experience in Experience in problem analysis and trouble shooting issues
- Readiness to travel Up to 5 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
- English: Basic knowledge
