Responsible for accurate and timely delivery of analytics to the field sales organization by establishing and following efficient processes, identifying issues, and working with business partners to resolve. Developing meaningful, actionable analytics for all supported sales teams and the various roles within the sales forces. Responsible for the overall maintenance and quality of the field reporting deliverables, which includes: customer profile information, product performance metrics, data management and related information used in incentive payouts, targeting and segmentation. Keep key stakeholders aware of timeline, working toward published SLAs. Responsible for all reporting-related inquiries and investigations initiated by the field or any of our business partners. Follow a systematic process to identify root cause. Communicate outcomes and methodically track investigations to uncover broader trends. Proactively design, develop and implement reports that directly impact business results. Lead training sessions for sales forces supported. Provides sales data and any relative insights to internal partners. Presents data and system overview to field sales and in-house partners as needed.

Additional responsibilities include:

Build, maintain and deliver actionable reports/analytics to the Sales Force that drives the impact because of the utilization and insight of sales data. Ensure that all reports are built, validated and posted as per the SLAs. Collaborate with IT/vendor to understand, address and present solutions to issues. Maintain the status of all deliverables. Communicate to affected parties if deliverable will not be posted by deadline. Act as the lead for UAT including the development and implementation. Maintain report specifications and product definitions. Communicate and record market/product and report/design changes. Provide guidance in report build and changes. Ensure all changes are implemented. Facilitate monthly cross-functional change review meetings. Present and implement changes that will bring significant value to the reports. Manage the overall problem resolution process by evaluating all reporting-related inquiries and provides required solutions. Trouble-shoot and communicate issues. Initiate ad-hoc analysis to verify the accuracy of sales results when necessary. Develop and present Report/Business Acumen Training - Help in the preparation by printing training materials, build reports, etc. Support other Sales Operations functions (Data Management, Call Reporting, Alignments and Incentive Compensation).

Qualifications


Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred. A minimum of 3 years of industry experience (healthcare, medical device or pharmaceutical) related to analytics, field sales or sales support. Familiarity with syndicated data sources, such as IMS, Wolters Kluwer, etc. and with the sales process (pharmaceutical, etc.) is required. Must have a proven track record of providing innovative, value-added and action oriented analytics. Ability to support cross-functional teams and the ability to understand, translate and incorporate and secondary data sources is required. Excellent personal leadership, collaboration, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and strong analytical and critical thinking skills are required. Ability to support cross-functional teams and the ability to understand, translate and handle multiple projects with conflicting deadlines is required. Cognos experience and/or field sales experience preferred. Experience in Sales Operations, Field Sales and/or IT experience and knowledge of data training methodologies & mobile computing platforms is also preferred. Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Must have demonstrated competency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Access and familiar with data warehouse environments; Capacity to learn new technologies and data structures; Success in creative problem solving and team partnership.
