Nestlé Purina PetCare Company, located I-70 and York St. in Denver, Colorado, has an immediate opening for a QA Analyst Monitor 3rd shift.

3rd Shift Hours 10:45 pm - 7:15 am (2300-0700)
Mandatory Weekends/Overtime/Holidays

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Administering QMS (Quality Management System) for finished product,
2. Communicating results/trends with appropriate departments, to include Production, Maintenance, Product Safety, etc.,
3. Maintaining documentation for quality checks, Quality Assurance equipment calibration and Maintenance.
4. Back up responsibilities in the Quality Assurance department.
5. Maintain work area in a safe and sanitary fashion
6. Support Formal Release with First-Bag, Last Bag testing.
7. Sample finished product in a timely manner and perform tests for the following:

Bushel Weight NIR Protein Date Codes
Temperature/Condensation NIR Fat Package Seals
Cut-Off NIR Moisture Composition
Smell-Odor Brokens & Fines Color

8. Inspect prescribed areas (e.g. FP-DAs, transitions to packing blowers) at changeovers.
9. Support packing line inspections at changeovers (flushes)
10. Set up and maintain Cosmetic/Sensory lab and product displays.
11. Retrieve additional samples as requested for product showings, special audits, bacti testing, hold orders, etc.
12. Accurately enter data into GPMQ.
13. Enter data in hard-copy.
14. Perform environmental sampling for bacteriological contaminants as required.
15. Communicate results of testing to packing, processing and management personnel.
16. Communicate effectively at shift changeover with other incumbents.
17. Initiate hold orders, and sample within the hold time range for rechecks
18. Perform additional projects assigned by QA management.(Export Sampling, Training, etc)

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assumes all other duties as assigned by Quality Assurance management.
2. Must have the ability to come to work in a timely and consistent manner.
3. Must be able to get along well with others.
4. Must be able to work under supervision.
5. Must complete work on time and be able to meet deadlines as necessary.
6. Must be able to work under routine stress as dictated by the job requirements/responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience:
Two years or more experience in a Quality Assurance manufacturing environment preferred, quality assurance experience preferred.
