Job Description
Responsible to analyze complex processes, develop and deploy innovative automation, to design system interfaces, and initiate process improvement solutions. To recommend and support Brewery clients in the use of computer technology, with the customer base being the Packaging Department. Maintain the systems used in executing packaging functions. To resolve technology related problems and provide leadership and guidance to electrical graft personnel.
The position also includes implementing solutions to correct identified problems, troubleshooting production problems and developing process improvement projects in conjunction with operators, area supervisors, and other plant resources. The individual is expected to recognize and drive opportunities for process improvements in the brewery and their primary support area, as well as provide technical leadership in their area of specialization. For larger projects, the individual will work with corporate project teams to integrate new systems and applications into the production environment. Technical Skills and Qualifications o Programmable Logic Controllers (Plcâs) (preferred) o Control Systems Networks, HMIâs and Instrumentation (preferred) o Manufacturing Systems Applications with Experience in all phases of software development in .Net framework with C#, VB, Active X, ODBC o SQL Databases and SQL Server Reporting Service Additional Skills Preferred Principal Duties
BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related major
Minimum of 5 of experience with Systems in a manufacturing environment

Ability to provide applications maintenance/support for .Net and SSRS apps

Monitor emerging technologies and identify those that meet business needs.
Coordinate activities of consultants, resources, and vendors delivering services for brewery systems and initiatives.
Ensure MillerCoors S88 standards are being adhered too.
Single point of contact for systemâs related issues in Packaging.
Work to achieve world class systems that can drive down costs, improve quality and enhance our ability to deliver and sell beer.
