Qualifications
- PhD in Plant Breeding/Genetics/Agronomy or related field of study and 5 years post PhD of breeding experience
- Five or more years experience as a people manager to enable management of the region
- Strong background in plant breeding, genetics, statistics and experimental design, molecular biology and molecular marker technologies
- Record of innovation and process improvement in a breeding program
- Ability to accurately forecast and manage budgets and capital expenditures
- Be a self-starter with team leadership skills including excellent organizational and record keeping skills, and the ability to foster a positive team environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in managing a corn breeding program or managing a portfolio of corn products in a large commercial setting.
