Job description
The successful candidates will be required to work on various aspects of Quality Assurance under the supervision of QA Manager.
· Run manual & automation tests for data-centric Client/Server & Web/XML applications
· Create automated tests
· Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks
· Demonstrate analytical and quantitative capabilities
· Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
· Handle multiple concurrent projects with limited oversight
· Work in a team environment or work independently with minimal supervision
· Interact with other quality assurance personnel regarding business and
technology needs related to requirements gathering and software testing
· Participate in implementations, upgrades, and conversion projects
· Manage projects within scope of responsibility
Various locations in the Washington DC/Virginia/Maryland area
Some of our client engagements do require up to 100% travel for an extended period of time. Consultants are required to be flexible with their ability to travel and cannot refuse projects due to travel. TalentVine
Required
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 1 year experience in software testing or course work equivalent
- At least 1 year experience in software testing automation or course work equivalent
- At least 1 year experience in SQL Scripting
- At least 1 year experience in Visual Basic
- Readiness to travel Up to 5 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
- U.S. citizenship required
- English: Intermediate
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 2 years experience in software testing or course work equivalent
- At least 2 years experience in software testing automation or course work equivalent
- At least 2 years experience in SQL Scripting
- At least 2 years experience in Visual Basic
