Job description
The Enterprise Marketing Management (EMM) Technical Architect is the key technical member of the EMM Solution Team. The EMM Technical Architect is responsible for understanding the clientâ??s technical environment, identifying and analyzing technical challenges, and designing as well as implementing technical solutions to meet those challenges. In addition, the EMM Technical Architect installs and configures EMM software packages.
The EMM Technical Architect normally works with major products in the Unica marketing automation product suite â?? especially Unica Campaign, Interact, and Marketing Operations â?? and also works to integrate these products with other enterprise solutions such as client loyalty management systems, digital asset management systems, and interactive customer communication channels including email systems, websites, mobile applications, ATMs, kiosks, and customer contact center workstations. Common EMM Technical Architect tasks include:
1. Conduct client technical interviews to understand client technical requirements
2. Assess client technical infrastructures to determine whether they are ready to support IBM EMM software solutions
3. Recommend enhancements to client hardware and software infrastructures to enhance EMM performance and reliability
4. Analyze client technical system integration requirements including (for example) security requirements in order to determine how to best support them
5. Install and configure EMM software packages, including Unica Campaign, Marketing Operations, and Interact
6. Design and implement technical integration interfaces based on standard integration interface solutions including SOAP, WSDL, UDDI and service-oriented architectures (SOA)
7. Test technical EMM solution implementations, including end-to-end functional, penetration and stress testing.

Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 1 year experience in Installing and configuring Marketing automation applications such as Unica, Aprimo, or SAS
- At least 1 year experience in Defining and analyzing technical EMM requirements and designing technical implementation solutions
- At least 1 year experience in Integrating EMM solutions (such as Unica products) with other client enterprise systems such as loyalty management systems, digital asset management systems, and/or consumer interactive channels
- Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
- English: Intermediate
Preferred
- Master's Degree
- At least 3 years experience in Installing and configuring Marketing automation applications such as Unica, Aprimo, or SAS
- At least 3 years experience in Defining and analyzing technical EMM requirements and designing technical implementation solutions
- At least 3 years experience in Integrating EMM solutions (such as Unica products) with other client enterprise systems such as loyalty management systems, digital asset management systems, and/or consumer interactive channels
- At least 1 year experience in Working with consumer interactive channels (websites, mobile applications, contact centers, etc.)
- English : Fluent
