Position general description

This is position is responsible for ensuring strict adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements and minimizing security risks for transportation for Mexico and Northern Cluster, both for International and local laws and regulations, as well as in accordance with corporate compliance and security teams and WWT goals, objectives and strategies.

Main responsibilities

Direct and oversee operational adherence to numerous trade regulations and programs that impact import and export of J&J product and materials across Mexico and Northern Cluster

Direct and oversee OPERATIONAL adherence to import and export documentation regulations

Manage the application and development of cargo security programs that impact the movement of products and materials across borders.

Initiate, pilot and monitor harmonization across J&J business entities for the various trade compliance areas.

Improve the management of JNJ Customs Brokers, implement SOP's and related monitoring tools

Collaborate with Global Transportation, business owners and stakeholders from different sectors, to drive change and implement strong trade compliance guidelines.

Occasional travel may be required. Constant communication with internal stakeholders is a must.

Position report to: Transportation Trade Compliance Manager

Cualificaciones

Bachelor in Engineering, Business or related areas is required

MBA is a plus

Spanish and English fluency required

Strong leadership skills, able to convince people and to federate around projects

Strong analytical and organization skills with excellent capabilities in process mapping

Required 5 or more years of experience in international trade/trade compliance
