Business Unit Overview - Human Resources & Development (HRD):

The HRD team plays a vital role in this aspiration and is regarded as a centre of excellence within J&J. This diverse and exciting department supports employees in all business units across the company, responsible for responsible for all aspects of HR support, Talent Development, Performance Management, Strategic Workforce Planning, Assessment & Selection and onboarding.

Role Purpose:

A rare opportunity has arisen to join the UK Janssen HRD department. You will be fully involved from the beginning, with a broad range of opportunities to develop your skills and confidence. For example, you will engage with stakeholders across the business, impact organisation engagement and learn about critical change leadership initiatives and the strategic role HRD plays in preparing an organisation for the future. You will have a high level of autonomy as well as support to grow and develop.

Key Activities:

- Support the HR Director to project manage Janssen UK's role in UK cross sector policy harmonization
- Partner with the Organisational Effectiveness Manager with Strategic Workforce Planning
- Work with the Heads of L&D and HR on specific HRD projects as needed
- Engage with internal stakeholders to conduct a review of key standard HR records management approaches to ensure consistency and completeness of records to improve actionable management reporting
- Support the Times 100 engagement application and dissemination of results as well as support with annual J&J Credo engagement survey.
- Provide HR admin for one business unit
- You will also have opportunities to to work with HR or Learning & Development Managers with ad-hoc business unit partnering activities

Qualifications


To be considered for this role you must:

- Currently be in your final year studying towards an undergraduate degree, in an HR relevant discipline OR have recently graduated with an undergraduate degree, in an HR relevant discipline
- Have achieved a 2:1 average or above in your penultimate year of study OR have recently graduated with a 2:1
- Be able to demonstrate competencies aligned with this post, including strong communication, time management and analytical skills
