The HR team plays a vital role in this aspiration and is regarded as a centre of excellence within J&J. This diverse and exciting department supports employees in all business units across the company, responsible for responsible for all aspects of HR support, Talent Development, Performance Management, Strategic Workforce Planning, Assessment & Selection and onboarding.

Role Description:

An exciting opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic individual to work in this varied role within the HRD department. You will provide essential assistance to the Janssen UK HR team, support the management of all HR systems and have an opportunity to learn about the strategic and tactical roles that HR plays to ensure the organisation is a great place to work.

Key Activities:

- Process starters and leavers through inputting and changing individual data in SAPHR, and communicating via email to the rest of the organization where appropriate.
- Update and develop the HR Dashboard through collating and analysing ad hoc reports from SAPHR and designing new measures through utilising available data, sourcing additional data and analysing information in Excel, feeding back to the HRD team as appropriate.
- Respond to requests and queries via telephone and email from internal/external customers.
- Produce ad hoc HR reports as required by internal and external customers.
- General administration duties - filing, photocopying, preparation of PowerPoint presentations.
- Manage student recruitment by collating job descriptions from line managers, liaising with the recruitment agency, developing advertising material (posters and information for the Company Internet) and developing and conducting presentations at Universities.
- Lead the induction process for students through managing a team of students to develop and update the existing Student Placement Guide, and co-ordinate annual Meet and Greet Day and Student Induction Day.

Qualifications


To be considered for this role you must:

- Currently be studying towards an undergraduate degree, in an HR relevant discipline
- Have achieved a 2:1 average or above in your first year of study
- Be able to demonstrate competencies aligned with this post, including strong communication, time management and analytical skills.
