The Director of Product Management will hold a key role on the Wellness & Prevention Board and is responsible for developing a vision and strategy for the diverse product portfolio of solutions for the W & P business. This leader plays a key role in shaping the future vision of the product portfolio, working closely with Commercial Leaders, Marketing, Behavioral Science, and Technology to ensure that our products & services continue to meet the needs of our customers, are differentiated in the marketplace, and support business/financials growth objectives.

The leader will be responsible for managing the enterprise wide product management team, strengthening our capabilities for the future, and developing strong talent. The leader will ensure that the product management team embodies the knowledge and leadership skills to be the company's subject matter experts on our solutions. The Director will also play a key leadership role in shaping and enabling the company's innovation roadmap strategy and execution plan. The scope of responsibility for the leader will span across the Wellness & Prevention enterprise and include all health & performance solutions including our digital/high technology solutions as well as on-site high-touch services and coaching. This leader will play a key role in shaping the prioritization of product enhancements and innovation initiatives working closely with the W&P Board; including evaluation of the market opportunity and trends, customer/end user needs, product requirements, and costs/resources for development. This leader will be responsible for collaborating closely with multiple cross-functional leaders (Commercial, Technology, Science, and Marketing) across the life cycle of product development, including idea generation, product definition, product development, market launch and post-launch product support.

The Director and the Product Management team will work closely with the Technology group throughout the product development process to ensure that requirements are well understood, to address questions regarding market/customer needs, and to verify that requirements are met in the final product. The Director provides oversight to the product team's expertise and knowledgebase about the W&P portfolio of solutions and how it is utilized and integrated by our customers. Ensures that product team is leading communication and education on product capabilities to the organization especially Marketing, Sales, Account Management, Product Development, Implementation and Operations to ensure successful launch and sales of products and to maintain product integrity post-launch.

Qualifications


A Bachelor's degree is required. Advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience in Product Management, Product Innovation or Product Development is required. Health and wellness experience industry experience highly preferred. A minimum of 3 years experience in technology/user engaging technology platforms is required. Repeated success bringing products through a full lifecycle of product development (including both technology and non-technology solutions) is required. Multiple experiences envisioning and building innovation strategies and plans are required. Track record of leading teams and people development is required. Strong commercial acumen experience is required. Excellent collaboration skills and ability to influence and lead large cross-functional teams is required. High level of initiative is required. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills are required. Strong executive presence is required. Strong problem solving skills are required. This position requires approximately 20% travel.
