Description
The key objective for the Sales Specialist for Energy is to achieve and exceed sales objectives and continue to grow the Energy portfolio within the South and West of Ireland and increase market share in our key technologies.
Customer relationships and people development are fundamental to our business, and therefore, will be a prime responsibility. In addition, you will be expected to treat your territory as if it is your own business maintaining key customers whilst developing strategies for new business.
Working closely with your Business Manager/Regional Sales Manager and the Sales Training Manager, you will be in a position to deliver outstanding value to our clinical and non-clinical customers and in turn transform patient care.
Main Responsibilities
- Create and execute on a plan to achieve objectives through sales and servicing all hospital accounts in a prescribed territory
- Schedules appointments and makes preplanned sales presentations to customers
- Initiates contact and schedules appointments with potential new customers
- Makes regular visits to customer locations to gather information on orders and market conditions
- Identifies customer needs and recommends new products to address them
- Develops customer and product focused presentation packages for sales
- Prepare sales reports and documents as required
- Follows up with customers to resolve any issues and ensure satisfaction
- Collaborates with other departments to ensure a timely resolution
- Develops and maintains sales forecast and submits to management
Qualifications
- The successful candidate will be confident, self-driven and highly competitive yet customer centric.
- A proven track record in medical sales or sales from a comparable environment.
- An ability to effectively demonstrate products and present is required, as is suitability for spending a significant amount of your time in the operating theatre environment.
- The successful candidate will also have a strong affinity for working closely with others in a team and will show entrepreneurial behaviour and have the emotional maturity and competence to build good relationships based on trust and respect.
- Personal drive, commitment, organisational and business skills and an ability to work on one's own initiative are key qualities required to deliver outstanding results within this growing business.
- You must also demonstrate excellent PC skills and have an excellent working knowledge of MS Office packages.
- You must also hold a full clean driving licence.
