The Product Director of HCP Marketing will have a broad range of professional marketing responsibilities primarily focused on generating professional recommendations for Insulin Delivery, Software and OneTouch ancillaries. They will drive Healthcare Professional (HCP) recommendation growth (endocrinologists, primary care physicians, diabetologists, nurse educators, pharmacists) through the LifeScan & Animas field sales forces, clinical management team, and account teams. The incumbent is accountable to develop and implement key HCP marketing initiatives (e.g., strategic position / message development, competitive selling, objection handling, speaker's programs, Advanced Leadership Team deployment, KOL advisory boards, message development) to achieve key company and brand objectives for Insulin delivery products, software solution (e.g., OneTouch Reveal) and diabetes products (e.g., OneTouch QuickClick) portfolio. This role is critical as it must serve as a hub to coordinate, collaborate and execute across multiple marketing functions.
Qualifications
A successful candidate must ensure initiatives are aligned to key managed markets and channel strategies by proactively communicating with Brand / Channel / Payer teams while in development. Accountable to do drive HCP designated customer segment of Insulin Delivery, software solutions and diabetes products and also develop best-in-class HCP marketing principle / practice capability. A Bachelors Degree is required, advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of related experience is required. A minimum of 3 years (combined) of marketing experience required in Healthcare marketing (i.e., pharmaceutical, medical device AND/OR consumer healthcare) required. Previous experience in Sales / Marketing, healthcare professional marketing experience, and US healthcare system, payer / reimbursement experience preferred. This position could require up to 30% domestic travel. Previous Diabetes Care Marketing and/or Management experience is strongly preferred.
