Qualifications
Required Skills:
- PhD in Entomology/Plant Pathology with experience and formal training in applied entomology/plant pathology or a related discipline.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects
- Ability to follow detailed and specified study processes and use supporting IT systems.
- Focused attention to detail.
- Knowledge of experimental design and analysis
- Field research experience.
- Ability to understand and use required software including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.

Desired Skills:
- Five years experience of successfully conducting field crops research.
- Success in managing field trials that were compliant to USDA and USEPA (or equivalent) regulations.
- Demonstrated mastery of field crops entomology
- Knowledge of insect biology, insect ecology, and pest management
- Knowledge of plant diseases, abiotic stressors, crop growth and development and basic genetics.
- Demonstrated commitment to following specified processes
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence
- Experience with good data recording practices or GLP's .
