Job description
An IBM Interactive Front End Web Developer will participate in the design and development of highly interactive web sites for high profile clients. This position requires a well-rounded technical developer with strong front end development experience including HTML and HTML5, complex CSS, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks, cross-browser compatibility, etc. The ideal candidate would have experience in a wide range of interactive web and mobile web site development.
Ideal candidates would have experience with the majority of the following:
- Complex HTML implementations with JavaScript and CSS
- HTML5 integration of Live and On-Demand Video
- Apache or IHS Webserver setup and configuration
- Git
- Web Analytics integration (eg,. Omniture, CoreMetrics)
- Use of Photoshop to for web production (cutting graphics, optimizations, etc)
- Agile software development
When working with members of the project team, candidates should be able to understand complex user interface requirements and implement them quickly and efficiently. This would involve being able to assist with project managers, designers and information architects in scoping and pricing front end applications as well as working with a team of developers during the build, test and deployment phases. Customer work locations are production environments in which the candidate would need to work with customers and other members of the team in exciting but long hour and high stress situations.
Knowledge of tennis and golf scoring and French language skills would be a plus. This position is available immediately and requires the candidate to be located in the Atlanta area.
The candidate should have a valid passport permitting travel outside of the United States and the ability to travel internationally for long periods of time.

- The candidate should have experience working with a variety of clients at all levels of an organization as well as a level of comfort presenting their work in workshops and client meetings.

Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 2 years experience in developing interactive web sites
- At least 3 years experience in internet industry
- Basic knowledge in Mobile and tablet web development experience
- Basic knowledge in social media based platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter)
- Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
- English: Fluent
Preferred
- At least 5 years experience in developing interactive web sites
- At least 5 years experience in internet industry
- Basic knowledge in Mobile application development experience (iOS and/or Android)
