Job description
This role is responsible for successful delivery of Business Analytics & Optimization (BAO) Enterprise Information solutions and services in a client consulting environment, and is an experienced architect in the areas of Enterprise Architecture, Data architecture, Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse implementations. Typical tasks include defining the key business problems & translating them into process/technical solutions, as well as managing client relationships. Candidate should have a strong background in driving to advanced analytical solutions in both structured and unstructured data.
This role designs Business Analytics & Optimization solutions and applications which may run on multiple platforms and may be composed of multiple software packages. This role performs critical evaluation and selection of the software and hardware components of the application, as well as evaluation and selection of development methodologies and tools for the specific project. This role is responsible for performance, availability and scalability of the applications, and maintains the functional interface to the application infrastructure. This role will participate in pre-sales activities, assessments, and the delivery of the solution & technical architecture (solution outline, macro design, micro design phases especially).
It is also expected that newly hired resources into the Global Business Services U.S. practice live within a reasonable commuting distance (generally 50 miles) of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Detroit, MI; Hartford, CT; Houston, TX; Kansas City, MO; Los Angeles, CA; Miami, FL; New York City, NY and surrounding area; Philadelphia, PA; San Francisco, CA; and Washington, DC.

Required
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 3 years experience in full life cycle Business Intelligence processes (including development, design, tuning and support)
- At least 3 years experience in hands-on technical delivery and leadership of Data Warehouse projects
- At least 2 years experience in developing project deliverables using formal/structured methodology
- At least 3 years experience in large and complex data and data center environments
- At least 3 years experience in both structured and unstructured data
- At least 1 year experience in the Distribution sector, including Consumer Products, Pharma/Life Sciences, Retail and/or Travel and Transportation
- Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
- English: Intermediate
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 6 years experience in full life cycle Business Intelligence processes (including development, design, tuning and support)
- At least 6 years experience in hands-on technical delivery and leadership of Data Warehouse projects
- At least 5 years experience in developing project deliverables using formal/structured methodology
