Specifically, the IBM Global Business Services Organization & People Service Area is seeking Senior Managing Consultants to apply their Global HR Shared Services skills on a wide array of engagements ranging from strategic planning and business transformation to process improvement and organizational change/design. In this position, you will have the opportunity to solve the most complex Human Capital issues on unprecedented scales, resulting in lasting improvement.

This role will involve the following:
  • Defining Global Service Delivery Models
  • The design, build and implementation of HR Shared Service Centers
  • HR Process work to include process mapping, gap assessments, and process reengineering initiatives
  • Organization Design, Change Management and Communications
  • Holistic HR assessments spanning multiple solution components to include organization, people, process and technology areas
  • Executive Alignment Strategy
  • Solution development and strategic planning
  • Identification of business improvements through:
    - Process flow documentation and gap assessment
    - Best practices identification and market research
    - Benchmarking and workforce analytics
    - Administration of engagement activities in support of a work product
  • Business case development
  • Client relationship development
  • Presentation and work product/deliverable development
  • The application of IBM's internationally award-winning consulting methodologies, key technologies and engagement support tools

    This position requires travel 4-5 days per week.

    Candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance (generally within 50 miles) of one of the following locations: Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Cinci., OH; Columbus, OH; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Detroit, MI; Hartford, CT; Houston, TX; Kansas City, MO; Los Angeles, CA; Miami, FL; Minne., MN; NYC and surrounding areas; Phila., PA; San Fran., CA; Tulsa, OK; and Wash., DC


Required
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 4 years experience in HR or Business Transformation engagements for projects involving Service Delivery Models.
  • At least 3 years experience in redesigning HR Processes to deliver globally.
  • At least 3 years experience in Organizational Design and/or redesign.
  • At least 3 years experience in Global Shared Services design and implementation.
  • At least 3 years experience in the definition of Global Shared Service Delivery Models.
  • At least 3 years experience in Executive Alignment Strategy.
  • At least 3 years experience in supporting sales and opportunity development efforts, request for proposal responses, and/or executive level relationship management.
  • At least 4 years experience in professional business communication, including oral presentations, written documents, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
  • English: Basic knowledge

  • Master's Degree
  • At least 7 years experience in HR or Business Transformation engagements for projects involving Service Delivery Models.
  • At least 5 years experience in redesigning HR Processes to deliver globally.
  • At least 5 years experience in Organizational Design and/or redesign.
  • At least 5 years experience in Global Shared Services design and implementation.
  • At least 5 years experience in the definition of Global Shared Service Delivery Models.
  • At least 5 years experience in Executive Alignment Strategy.
  • At least 3 years experience in one or more of the following industry areas: Aerospace and Defense, Automotive, Chemicals and Petroleum, Industrial Products, or Electronics
  • At least 5 years experience in supporting sales and opportunity development efforts, request for proposal responses, and/or executive level relationship management.
  • At least 7 years experience in professional business communication, including oral presentations, written documents, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • At least 3 years experience in management consulting for a consulting and/or professional services firm(s).
  • English : Intermediate
