The Occupational Hygienist may be responsible for:
* Managing Noise and Vibration levels
* Conducting Chemical management including risk assessments
* Carrying out Industrial hygiene sampling
* Analysing Data, Data collation and reporting
* Developing, reviewing and revising occupational hygiene procedures
* Conducting occupational hygiene audits, as required
* Providing instruction and training on occupational hygiene topics
* Be a focal point for water management
* Proposing risk reduction measures as appropriate and be an effective advocate for implementation
* Liaising and report on occupational hygiene issues on a regular basis with the line and functional management

Qualifications:
Required
* British Occupational Hygiene Society Competence Certificate
* British Occupational Hygiene Society Certificates in Exposure Monitoring, Noise, Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome, and Risk assessment;
* Water Management knowledge;
* Industrial Hygiene, relevant field experience;
* Excellent Communication and Influencing Skills;
Preferred
*
Knowledge of both onshore and offshore oil and gas HSE legislative requirements;
*
Training and medical certificates for offshore travel
*
Management of Asbestos Knowledge;
*
Local Exhaust Ventilation and Indoor Air Quality Monitoring;
*
Enthusiastic with a questioning and challenging attitude
*
Ability to use the standard IT packages for spread-sheets, word processing and presentations etc.
