Description
The Business Intelligence (BI) Network of Excellence (NOE) & Training Lead is a member of the Information Delivery / Reporting team within the Information Technology Enterprise Solutions organization. The BI NOE & Training Lead is responsible for leading a global group of BI professionals with the purpose of sharing knowledge, solutions and expertise. Multiple Networks exist at various levels within the organization.
The BI NOE & Training Lead is also responsible for developing and executing a training plan for all BI technologies. This is a new position within the team so the successful candidate will be responsible for developing the NOE and Training Program from the ground up.
Responsibilities may include:
* Develop the program and structure for the Network of Excellence and Training and then execute the program once designed
* Lead the Network of Excellence for all BI sub networks and the core overarching network
* Oversee and/or deliver training for the core BI technologies at ConocoPhillips. The initial focus will be on new user training and once that is designed, the focus becomes tips & tricks/continuous learning.
* Develop and participate in BI Forward Thinking / Governance committees with our key business leaders
* Serve as a consultant for BI solutions with global BI professionals and business users
Qualifications:
Basic/Required:
* Legally Authorized to work in the United States
* Minimum 5 years combined work experience in a technical role within Information Technology, or Training or Communications/Social Media
Preferred:
* Proven experience developing and executing a training program from scratch
* 2 years of experience as a classroom trainer/instructor for Technology tools
* Foundational understanding in at least one of the following technology platforms: SAP Business Objects, SAP Business Warehouse, Essbase, Spotfire
* Experience using Social Media and interest in driving innovative social media approaches to knowledge sharing and networking
* Experience leading a global group of people in Knowledge Sharing, recognizing it's not their full time job to participate in knowledge sharing
* Experience running large global meetings using Virtual Meeting technologies
* Project management skills
* Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills to meet task deadlines
* Ability to work independently, self-motivated, with excellent verbal communication skills
* Ability to learn new IT technologies and then be able to train and speak knowledgably about each toolset.
