Lead Digital Product Manager

Kaiser Permanente is seeking an energetic and experienced Lead Digital Product Manager who will evolve the kp.org User Access products (including Registration, Sign On, Forgot Password, and Forgot User ID) through successive stages of conception, definition, development, launch and post-release. These features allow kp.org users to register for an account, sign on, reset a forgotten password, or recall a forgotten User ID online or via a mobile device, while ensuring the security of their personal health information. This position would oversee the expansion of the User Access product offerings by 1) implementing the translation of these functionalities into Spanish, enabling easier access to secure features for our Spanish-speaking members and 2) creating the capability to register for a kp.org account on a mobile device.
This position falls within the industry leading kp.org Digital Identity Services program and is part of Kaiser Permanente's Internet Services Group. The Digital Identity Services team provides software products and services for our kp.org Consumer and Business users that allow them access to their health, insurance, and account information via web and mobile channels in a manner that is secure, convenient and cost effective.

The key responsibilities of this position are to:
- Understand the needs of our members, customers and internal business partners,
- Design web and mobile solutions for customers by using key inputs from business owners, consumers, broader enterprise strategy, operations, infrastructure and the online/digital industry,
- Research industry trends and best practices in the area of identity management, online account security, registration, and sign on methodology,
- Be the subject-matter expert for assigned products,
- Create a product vision and strategy to ensure alignment with overall Product Development and Organizational direction and present to product leadership,
- Develop business cases, product plans, and secure funding,
- Elicit requirements, write clear user stories, and prioritize the product backlog,
- Collaborate with creative service partners in usability testing and the development of the user design,
- Provide direction and support to development and quality assurance teams by assuming the Product Owner role using the Agile development methodology,
- Provide project oversight throughout delivery,
- Assist customer support teams, and develop and implement trainings and communications that allow partners and internal clients to better understand the products.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required,
- Minimum of 5 years product management or development experience
- Strong business analysis skills and communications skills required
- Identity management and online security experience
- Microsoft office experience (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree preferred
- Healthcare industry experience a strong plus
- Mobile experience a strong plus
- Experience in an Agile or SCRUM development environment a plus
- CISSP or CSSLP certification nice to have
- Prior experience translating online products into other languages (primarily Spanish) a plus.
