Supervisor, Talent Acquisition

Summary:
The purpose of this job is to oversee the day-to-day recruitment operations. The individual will be responsible for supervising Talent Acquisition Consultants, Coordinators & New Hire Coordinators, as well as ensuring a positive work environment & customer experience. The supervisor will be responsible for monitoring workflow to ensure efficient processing of position requisitions, development & execution of recruitment strategy & exceptional service delivery.
Essential Functions:
- Strategize, develop, implement, monitor, track & report on work processes & workflow to ensure efficient processing of position requisitions, filling of internal positions & transfer to external recruitment
- Utilize data & other information to ensure efficient operation & continuous quality improvement
- Adhere to OFCCP & other state & federal regulations (25%)
- Supervise talent acquisition consultants, talent acquisition coordinators & new hire coordinators
- Develop & retain a professionally competent & satisfied staff by selecting, training, developing, supervising & performance managing employees
- Provide staff w/ timely & appropriate internal & external information & deliver appropriate resources to enable staff to carry out their respective accountabilities
- Implement & manages performance standard for staff
- Participate in & supervise New Employee Orientation
- Oversee the coordination efforts & compliance for I-9 documentation (40%)
- Work w/ managers throughout the organization to ensure a positive customer experience; ensure regular communication & dialogue
- Advise & consult on issues related to requisition management, job descriptions, posting processes & talent selection
- Provide training as needed (15%)
- Work w/ employee & labor relations staff to coordinate redeployment & reduction in force initiatives; ensure appropriate posting process & adherence to collective bargaining agreements (10%)
- As needed, assists Talent Acquisition Consultants w/ high level requisitions
- Develop & execute recruitment strategy, to include the coordination of executive interviews
- Coordinate recruiting events identifying the goal & executing delivery to ensure a return on investment (10%)
- Responsible for monitoring budget for transfer & process center & assisting w/ yearly development of budget
- The talent acquisition supervisor takes direction from the Talent Acquisition Manager & acts w/in that direction, following policies & procedures of the department, region & legislative requirements
- The region recruits for a wide variety of jobs
- Managers have varying degrees of knowledge & experience w/ candidate selection & RSS (applicant tracking system)
- Compliance w/ EEO laws & policies is a priority
- Must have well developed human relations skills to work w/ talent acquisition staff, managers, labor leaders, job seekers, community leaders, educational representatives & applicants
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in recruiting
- Minimum of 3 years of experience leading a team or major recruitment effort
- Minimum of 3 years of experience building programs/implementing new systems & processes
- Minimum of 2 years of working in health care recruitment preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of project management experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a lead recruiter or supervisor preferred
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, human resources, related field OR 4 years of equivalent experience
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred
- Must be willing to travel up to 40% of time w/in a 60 mile radius of the office
- Bi-lingual in Spanish & English preferred
- Sitting at desk, viewing computer screens, walking throughout office & building
- Light lifting for set up at Career Fair Events
- Demonstrated understanding of governmental regulations, court decisions & professional standards & practices related to EEO/AA; legalities & ethics of recruitment; needs analysis; job analysis; position specific recruitment planning; resume & candidate evaluation; interviewing techniques; & matching position to best candidate background

- Demonstrated computer literacy to include experience in using data & metrics to demonstrate success (i.e., return on investment, time to fill, quality of hires & various other recruitment & retention data)
- Demonstrated understanding of branding & image
- Demonstrated critical thinking, objectivity, flexibility & strong negotiation skills
- Proficient w/ MS Office Suites & other computer applications
- Proven track record of being a team player w/ strong leadership skills & a portfolio of successful projects
- Demonstrated knowledge of supervisory practices including performance management, hiring, team development & budgeting
Salary Range:
$70,040 - $95,960
