Job description

The Server Administrator will provide support for problem and change tickets and/or project tasks for client server support operations, which may span multiple service lines. Responsible for implementing changes to the client's environment and ensuring proper technical support to consistently maintain the operations of the client's servers and systems. Tasks involve problem determination and implementation of changes to hardware, software, application or network system. Participate in a rotating 24x7 oncall coverage schedule.

It is also expected that new hires live within a reasonable commuting distance (generally 50 mi or less) of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Detroit, MI; Hartford, CT; Houston, TX; Kansas City, MO; Los Angeles, CA; Miami, FL; Minneapolis, MN; New York City, NY and surrounding areas; Philadelphia, PA; San Francisco, CA; Tulsa, OK; and Washington, DC. Exceptions may be considered.

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • At least 3 years experience in Windows administration.
  • At least 3 years experience in Linux/Unix systems administration.
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • English: Basic knowledge


Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Security clearance of Secret - Active
  • English : Intermediate
