Besides the knowledge of methods to initialize, plan, execute, control and monitor a project, IBM PMs use skills and leadership competencies for team building, client relations, negotiation, decision making, problem solving and conflict management.
Acting under the guidance of a more Senior project manager participates in proj. teams to facilitate, liaise or coordinate; Performs assigned tasks including requests for proposal through development, test and final delivery following IBM processes and methodologies.

- High School Diploma/GED
- Basic knowledge in Project Management
- At least 1 year experience in Strong Written and Verbal Communication
- Basic knowledge in Strong Organizational Skills

Travel expected for this position: The IBM Michigan Delivery Center is an in-bound delivery model where we support our clients from our East Lansing, MI center. Some travel is expected and all candidates must be willing and able to travel to meet our client needs. Travel is typically within the continental US. Travel is typically related to knowledge transfer and training at the client site and may fluctuate between a few weeks or a few months up front (Monday thru Friday) at the client site.
