Job description
Senior Strategy Consultant, IBM Corporation, Somers, NY and at various client sites throughout the U.S.: Develop business strategy by analyzing various macro and micro economic factors, competitive research, market research, technology research and political factors. Responsible for business enablement through the use of Information Technology. Use analysis methods including regression analysis, large-data set analysis using pivot tables, and clustering and spatial analysis to translate complex business and technical issues. Create business cases and present them to the client. Advise client IT and business executives. Perform project management including contract negotiations, setting the timeline, budget management and technological expertise. Develop solutions based on the client's business and market challenges. Design and implement solutions across all phases of a project. Identify new opportunities to increase client value. Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Business Administration or related (Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Strategy Consultant, Senior Engineer Specialist or related. 40 hours per week, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
