Job description
The Storage Architect will be responsible to assess, evaluate and develop in-depth storage solutions to meet customer requests. Also provide a detailed design and implementation plan of enterprise-class storage systems. Candidate should have a deep knowledge of current storage practices relating to virtualization (VMware).
This position can be based either in College Park, MD with travel 3 days a week to Keyser, WV, or based in Keyser, WV with travel 3 days a week to College Park, MD.

Required
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 5 years experience in storage architecture.
- At least 5 years experience in Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Operations Planning.
- At least 5 years experience in building complex end to end solutions using multi-vendor hardware/software.
- Readiness to travel Up to 3 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
- U.S. citizenship required
- English: Basic knowledge
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 5 years experience in IBM, NetApp and Hitachi, Quantum and ADIC Tapes storage platforms.
- At least 5 years experience in developing technical documentation of IT system environments.
- At least 5 years experience in NetApps and Brocade equipment (hands-on).
- English : Intermediate
