The Product Director, Retail Marketing is responsible for: Directing LifeScan's marketing activities for the purpose of maximizing the adoption of OneTouch meters, strips and ancillaries, growing LFS product share and revenue, and developing and introducing new products into the market at key retail customers. Working cross functionally to develop and execute demand driving activities in retail. BME budget management. Partnering with Sales, Operations and finance to manage forecasting. Managing relationships with external partners in the retail channel. Responsible to analyze & interpret market data (Consumer, Retail, MO, MCO, etc.) in order to develop retail strategies & programs. Engage in execution of new product launches. Gain customer insights to develop effective marketing strategies.

Deliver on Current Year Business Plan, through; Development and execute pull through of strategy and plans at key retail customers. Collaboration in development & implementation of marketing strategy (positioning, place, price and promotion). Plan and coordinate successful launch of new products to Customers. Work with key partners in Sales, Professional Education, Clinical, Marketing Communications to develop and implement marketing plans to achieve forecast, maximize revenue, profitability and procedure adoption. Ensure rigorous strategic & financial assessment of all program ideas & prioritization of various programs. Deliver on budget resources; identify cost efficiencies.

Enable future growth, through; Work across Marketing and Sales to ensure alignment to goals. Understand key customer needs and input into core marketing team. Work with legal and regulatory team to develop and approve marketing copy and specific claims that support key retail initiatives. Manage the transition of existing strip platform to future upgrades. Implement the transition of strip platform and new product launches in major customers to ensure growth.

Qualifications


4 year college degree is required. At least 5 years of professional experience is required. A minimum of 3 combined years in Healthcare or CPG sales and/or marketing required. Experience working with Managed Markets and Govt. preferred. Experience working with Account Management team preferred. Strong analytical skills, product launch experience and new product development knowledge preferred. Diabetes experience strongly preferred. Brand Marketing, Sales, Finance, Sales Training, market research skills are highly preferred.
