Ethicon Energy is a rapidly expanding division of the Global Surgery Group within Johnson & Johnson, part of the world's largest healthcare group of companies. To achieve this we offer single patient use, open and endoscopic energy products to consultant surgeons, theatre teams and non-clinical stakeholders. Ethicon Energy is a $70MM business across UK, Ireland and the Nordics.

Due to an internal promotion an opportunity has presented itself for a lead Marketing Manager position within the business unit. High growth expectations of the Ethicon Energy division and a rich pipeline of new products means this role will be highly visible within the franchise and hold many opportunities for the successful applicant.

Reporting into the Energy Business Unit Lead, the successful candidate will lead the UNI marketing team consisting of two portfolio marketing managers and a marketing assistant and will be responsible for developing and implementing key marketing strategies to take advantage of the rapidly growing 'Advanced Energy' Marketplace

The key responsibilities will be to demonstrate an excellent work knowledge of the healthcare environment, development of an annual strategic marketing plan, own a substantial marketing budget, flawless introduction of new products and developing strong relationships with key opinion leaders. The ability to drive collaboration with other business units and work closely with shared service functions such as professional education, supply chain and commercial and HE&R is also vitally important.

This role will offer the successful applicant the opportunity to facilitate a range of lead marketing functions including marketing and business plan development, development of a digital strategy for ENERGY, forecasting, brand management, development and roll out of an external KOL mapping strategy, product launch management and internal and external promotional activities as well as representing the UNI cluster at regular EMEA marketing meetings. This person will also liaise across business units with ESC (ETHICON Surgical Care, including Gynecare) in key common specialty areas such as Bariatrics, Cardio Thoracics and Gynecology. This role covers the UK & Ireland and the Nordics, where close collaboration with the Sales and Marketing Manager for ENERGY in the Nordics is required.

Qualifications

- Working knowledge of NHS and/or business to public sector environment preferable.
