The Sr. Analyst, Data Strategy & Management provides support to the organization in regards to the processing and validation of various data sources utilized by field sales and home office personnel. They are responsible for the overall maintenance and quality assurance of data in the company's data warehouse, which includes; customer profile information, business rules, product performance metrics, quality control checks, and related information used in incentive payouts, targeting, segmentation, and field reporting. Responsible for performance of validation activities to ensure the accuracy of data. Provides data insights and support to internal partners. Presents data and system training to field sales and in-house partners as needed. Leads data and/or system related projects per needs of the business.

Additional responsibilities include:

Partners closely with Information Technology, various vendors, and internal colleagues to ensure flawless implementation and execution of various business rules, processing procedures, and validation processes. Leads and/or participates in cross-functional operational projects in support of the sales teams. Communicates with sales management and in-house partners regarding various data processing and validation initiatives. Seeks to increase awareness and utilization of data, products, and services through education. Investigates and resolves data questions/inquiries from the field and internal partners. Identifies responses/solutions to data issues in a timely manner. Leads execution of routine QC checks for accurate and timely processing of data warehouse updates. Validates information conforms to specifications and is within defined thresholds.

Qualifications


BS or BA in related field is required. MBA or MS is preferred. A minimum of 3-5 years of business experience is required. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are required. Must have the ability to understand, translate and integrate secondary data sources is required. Able to work on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines are mandatory. Working knowledge of secondary data is required. Competent in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Access and familiar with data warehouse environments. Familiarity with syndicated data sources, such as IMS is required. Knowledge of the field sales process is desired. Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
