Advanced Sterilization Products, a Johnson & Johnson Company, division of Johnson & Johnson's Global Medical Solutions Group is recruiting for a Sales Specialist, located in Houston, TX.

Advanced Sterilization Products is a leading developer of innovative instrument sterilization, disinfection and cleaning technologies, including STERRAD® Systems and CIDEX® Family of Products. The primary objective of the ASP Sales Specialist is to meet established sales goals to include market share objectives. The Sales Specialist is responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities within established and new accounts in a geographically dispersed territory. The Sales Specialist will focus their call activities on multi specialty ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) and some hospitals that fall outside of Account Manager assigned accounts.

Qualifications


To be considered for this role, a minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. A minimum of 4 years of medical product sales experience required and the ability to travel as necessary (potentially overnight and/or weekends) is required. Candidates must have a valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 States and a clean driving record. More than 4 years experience in medical and capital equipment sales experience is preferred. Sterilization experience is preferred. Experience selling to a variety of departments with emphasis on the OR and SPD is preferred. Experience selling to ambulatory surgery centers is preferred. Experience launching new products, increasing product utilization, and protecting business from competition is also preferred. This position will require 80% travel by car and air which may include some overnight stays throughout a regional area that may encompass more than one state
