Johnson & Johnson Services Inc., a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Director, Compensation Systems and Intelligence (CSI) to be located in New Brunswick, NJ.
The Director, Compensation Systems and Intelligence (CSI) will have responsibility for the design, implementation and execution of the enterprise compensation and intelligence systems. This individual will be responsible for strategic consultation, complex analyses, regulatory/legal compliance oversight and management of 3rd party consultants on matters related to compensation systems. Responsibilities will also include similar support for mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations.
This position reports to the Director of Total Rewards and Performance, Strategy and Operations. It supports regional and global design and implementation activities for compensation systems, including continual process improvement, policy oversight, and program alignment across other Human Resource (HR) Specialist Groups. The role consults, partners and informs Business Based Human Resources and business/functional leadership to ensure the needs of the business are considered and met, input from and delivery of outcomes to regional stakeholders occur, and works with the Human Resource Organization (HRO) supplier's regional resources and other specialist groups to ensure coordination/integration at the regional/country level as appropriate.
The Director CSI will lead the design and management of compensation systems and intelligence platforms for the enterprise. This includes, but will not be limited to: designing and implementing the compensation components of a global data repository, providing manager and employee self service design support for compensation related matters and serve as the primary liaison with other functions, specialty groups and various vendors for compensation system related matters. This role will design and manage the compensation technology solutions for the year-round, year-end and reward and recognition processes. Manage the global compensation survey submission and analysis process, and technology solutions for Johnson & Johnson. Partner with Corporate Communications to develop approaches to disseminating compensation communications with Total Rewards, HR, business leaders and employees. Provide oversight to the sharing of compensation related materials on the HR portal. Design and implement tools to better enable business leaders to conduct offers, promotions and compensation adjustments for associates. Develop and manage global reporting responsibilities for the enterprise that are shared with senior leadership. Manage Compliance related processes for Sarbanes-Oxley, Safe Harbor and other required Audit Reporting. Work with other regional Resource Groups across processes and work-streams to ensure appropriate integration of Total Rewards processes. Partner with global Compensation teams to ensure global consistency and early identification of key issues. Ensure appropriate documentation of all design activities, including but not limited to detailed process mapping and development of key measures. Provide strategic consultation to assigned country and businesses with respect to compensation system related matters. Work with HRO supplier, as appropriate, with regard to services related to compensation systems. Manage work of 3rd party expert consultants on matters related to compensation systems for Johnson & Johnson. Provide support associated with the due diligence and integration phases of mergers and acquisitions, as well as with internal reorganizations, downsizings and divestitures. Helps plan and design any key meetings or presentations, ensuring appropriate documentation of outcomes, decisions and next steps. Participate in the setting of regional metrics and other reporting requirements for compensation. Conduct benchmarking and trend analyses. Ensure proper approvals for major program and system changes are achieved.

Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor Degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of 7 years experience working in a Total Rewards/HR Systems role is required. Knowledge of business practices associated with compensation and compensation systems is required. People management / supervisory experience is required. Project management experience (e.g., project plans, status reports, communication plans, risk management plans, milestones, deliverable charts) is required. Proven track record of leading without direct authority and collaborating across functional lines is required. Must have strong influencing and change management skills. Application and knowledge of Process Excellence/Six Sigma tools and methodologies is preferred. Limited travel may be required up to 15%, domestic and international. This position requires the ability to work in New Brunswick, NJ.
