DePuy Orthopaedics is the Joint Reconstruction business offering orthopaedic devices, solutions and supplies for hip, knee and extremity reconstruction, in addition to cement and operating room products.

DePuy Synthes is building a Marketing Center of Excellence to dramatically improve our marketing skills and expertise. The Manager, Brand Strategy will play a critical role in raising the bar for our marketing efforts worldwide. The incumbent will be responsible for helping to shape the enterprise value proposition; providing strategic brand guidance for high impact projects across the organization; and dramatically improving marketing excellence via creation of new training and tools to support the new marketing competency model. Specific responsibilities include: positioning DePuy Synthes to be more relevant for more stakeholders beyond the surgeon; introducing and sharing marketing and branding best practices; and building a training program that drives adoption of the new marketing competency model. Qualifications


BA/BS degree is required; Master's preferred. Must have at least 7 years of professional experience. A minimum 5 years progressive marketing experience required. Successful track record of commercializing brands in consumer, pharma and medical device; healthcare a plus. Must have product launch and/or product positioning experience. Up to 25% travel will be required for this role. Must have the ability to influence without authority across multiple levels. Must have experience making effective presentations to small and large groups at all levels. A successful candidate will have demonstrate a high energy level, possess excellent verbal and written communication, analytical skills, business acumen and strategic agility, working understanding of financial modeling and portfolio planning methods. Must be able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively on cross-functional team environment.
